Brands and Kids

I was driving today with my son and at his 32 months i became amazed at how powerful brands can be. I am guessing there is significant research and testing behind creating any corporate image out there targeting any consumer, but, I was impressed at how children react to brands at such an early stage.

My child not only associates particular brands with earlier experiences, but, also has the ability to guess/identify brands he doesn't know

I am not judging if there is anything right or wrong with that - I was just impressed at the power of branding and its effect on the human brain from the youngest stages in life
